Back by popular demand! NEIC does our second Mutual Aid volunteer event with a local charity to develop New England’s self-sufficiency in food. We are going back to Gaining Ground, a non-profit farm in Concord, MA decicated to feeding low-income and food insecure individuals and families in New England.

They produced and donated 127,000 pounds of food in 2020, which went to fifteen local hunger relief organisations. They can and do accommodate volunteers with many different levels of physical capability. Volunteers and members alike, if you have been wanting an opportunity to help your fellow New Englanders, this is your chance.
