The US regime has in effect declared martial law in the District of Columbia, utilizing the National Guard from 6 states (West Virginia, South Carolina, Ohio, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee). Similar action has been threatened for Chicago and other areas. The New England states should sign a mutual defense pact so that if we are invaded by the military from outside our jurisdiction, we can defend one another.
European countries are already signing similar pacts in light of the US’s dereliction of its historical role in NATO. The UK and Germany signed such a pact this summer. New England is facing a similar situation.
The New England states should activate their defense pact if any of the following occur: (a) The military from any other state sends troops into New England. This would include their National Guard or any other US military force from outside of New England; (b) The US regime attempts to take over the National Guard of any of the New England states; (c) The US regime attempts to send any of our National Guard troops to another state or jurisdiction.
The regime has already requested that troops from Vermont be sent to DC. Fortunately, that “request” was declined.
An invasion of federal or federalized troops into New England would be tantamount to a declaration of war, and we have the right to defend ourselves. This week, Trump “joked” that in a state of war, he has the power to cancel elections. This is what we are facing — a complete takeover and repudiation of our civil rights. We can’t let that happen.
This is the position of the New England Independence Campaign.
